Mission Statement |
|
It is the overall objective of Orange Grove Fostercare to provide a foster care service to local authorities which is of the highest quality, and with integrity. We are an established independent agency, and we aim to develop and improve upon our reputation for service which is second to none.
It is our aim to become a leading child care agency. Our commitment is to providing family placements with experienced foster carers, and to our carers themselves without whom we would not be able to provide a service. In part this manifests in the importance we place on the extensive support we provide, and in the value we place on our carers. We believe that this is a formula for achieving successful outcomes for children. Orange Grove Fostercare will not discriminate on grounds of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, health, disability, race, or colour. However, our checks on applicants are rigorous, and persons with a criminal record may be excluded from appointment subject to the nature of the conviction against them. Persons with any conviction of a sexual offence against children will not be considered.
Smokers will need to agree to uphold our policy on smoking.
We are committed to providing a service to local authorities which is considered to be excellent value for the fees charged, and to working with placing agencies and our carers within the remit of Orange Grove Fostercare placement contract, our Service Agreements, and The Adoption and Children Act 2002 and associated guidance, and Ofsted.
