Orange Grove Fostercare has a Placement Matching System which comprises a secure computer database capable of matching all children and young people needing to be looked after with an appropriate foster placement.
One of our local team social workers will endeavour to respond to all referrals within 30 minutes of receiving the completed referral form, including notifying Local Authorities when we have not been able to identify an appropriate match.
Our referral form provides us with basic information which allows us to identify a primary match. More details will then be requested using our Matching Processes in order to build up a profile of the child/young person and confirm which family best meets their assessed needs.
The local Team Manager will discuss the referral with the Foster Carer and their Orange Grove Supervising Social Worker and when all parties are happy to proceed with the identified placement, Orange Grove Fostercare supervising social worker will work in partnership with the child/young person's social worker to initiate the Foster Placement Planning Process.
