Allowances

Foster Carers receive a weekly allowance to support the child that they care for. This is normally paid monthly.

Orange Grove Fostercare‘s allowances are normally revised on the 1st of April.

Full details of allowances will be sent to all prospective Foster Carers on request and during their application process.

Orange Grove Fostercare welcomes inspection, and regulation under the Care Standards Act 2000, and is registered and approved by Ofsted.

As an Orange Grove carer you will be required to join The Fostering Network and support the Foster Care Charter.

No person who has a criminal conviction for an offence against children (other offences may also rule you out) will be considered for appointment to any position whatsoever within Orange Grove Fostercare. Orange Grove Foster Carers are without fail, fully involved in the matching process, and ultimately the decision as to whether you offer a child a placement is yours.

Orange Grove Fostercare is a full Agency Member of The Fostering Network and the British Association for Adoption and Fostering (B.A.A.F.).

Orange Grove Fostercare upholds the British Association of Social Workers‘ (B.A.S.W.) Code of Ethics for Social Work.

All our Social Work staff are fully qualified. Our Consultant Psychologists are all members of the British Psychological Society (B.P.S.).

Orange Grove Fostercare has successfully achieved and retained the Investors in People (I.i.P) standard. Orange Grove Fostercare is an accredited agency and approved provider for many Local Authorities.
