Due to the merger of Orange Grove and Hillcrest Fostercare and the company’s expansion of its local services in the South of the UK an opportunity to join the team in Crowthorne has become available.
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced fostering social worker who wants to provide high quality placements for looked after children.
You will have a professional qualification in social work and be able to contribute to the recruitment, training, assessment, support and supervision of our Foster Carers.

Registered Foster Care Team Manager Permanent, 37 hrs per week
Based in Malvern and covering Worcestershire, Herefordshire & Gloucestershire
You will be qualified (CQSW/DipSW) and have at least 3 years post qualification experience in family placement work. You should be an experienced manager and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in supervision/management of social workers and in achieving consistent care standards and compliance with current fostering regulations. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic leader with an ability to motivate, support and manage a team with a view to expanding its operations and developing the business.
In return we offer:
Salary £36,034 - £44,770, Company Car/Allowance, Contributory Pension Scheme, Performance Related Pay, Health Care Scheme, Life Assurance, Training & Development, Regular Supervision & Support.

Fostercare Panel Member
Based at our Malvern Head Office, Worcestershire
Orange Grove Fostercare is looking for someone to join its midlands Fostering Panel which meets monthly at its Malvern head office.
The person we are looking for will have had direct experience of being cared for in either a residential or fostering setting and will bring this knowledge to the decision making process of the Panel.
The person who takes up this role will need to be available one day per month to attend the Panel meeting and have time beforehand to thoroughly read the Panel papers in preparation for the meeting. Panel meetings usually run from 10.00am to approximately 4.00pm.
To be successful in this role you will need to have good listening and assessment skills, be able to question logically and sympathetically, communicate well and have some basic IT skills as information is supplied on disk.
A payment is made for attending the Panel meeting and for the preparation required beforehand. Expenses are also paid.
