Merger allows Orange Grove to offer more local services
At the start of the year the Orange Grove and Hillcrest Fostercare businesses merged to operate under the Orange Grove Fostercare name giving the company greater national coverage and the benefits of being a much larger company. Orange Grove’s philosophy has always been to provide quality care throughout the country but to make it a local and personalised service to local authorities and foster carers.
Hillcrest Fostercare brings with it foster carers based in the south east including London, Kent, Essex, Sussex, Hampshire & Berkshire along with a dedicated staff group with experience of delivering high quality fostercare services.
To guarantee better local support in the south east, two new offices are being opened, one in south east London, the other in Crawley, these will be fully operational in the first quarter of the year. A third office is being planned to support our carers in north London and Essex and is likely to open in the second half of the year.
Over the last 12 months there has been an increasing need for foster homes for young people who have come to the UK seeking asylum, for young mothers and their babies, for sibling groups and teenagers. Orange Grove offers highly competitive fees, terms and conditions and we help our carers do a professional job by providing excellent training and social work support.
